Gage Realty’s standard Operating Procedures require the following;
(i) Prospective clients shall show identification only in the instance that the seller of a listed property requires it. In addition, an agent shall be free to ask for identification in the event that the agent has reason to suspect that the buyer has not been truthful with them. An agent’s safety is paramount in all instances.
(ii) An exclusive broker agreement is not required to show homes. However, the agent and buyer can agree in advance to have a contract if the buyer chooses to have one,
(iii) Pre-approval for a mortgage loan is required for all showings in advance. In the event that the buyer is paying cash then a pre-approval won’t be required but proof of funds is required.
